Free Nursery Sessions

The term after your child's third birthday they become entitled to 15 hours free early years education. This runs along with school term times. We are flexible in the way we can offer the 15 hours but do have to follow the guidelines set out by the local authority. There is now an additional 15 hours available to working parents more information can be found at www.childcarechoices.co.uk. This then provides 30 free hours, we aim to be as flexible as possible to provide the 30 hours to you.

We do charge a small amount for lunches or alternatively a pack lunch may be provided.

*15 hours may be claimed over at least two days between 8am and 8pm with a minimum of 2.5 hours, maximum of 10 hours in one day. Your funding may be stretched to cover holidays *

We also accept 2 year old Early Years entitlement funding; details can be found at www.wirral.gov.uk. This entitles eligible 2 year olds to 15 hours of free nursery education.

Please call or pop in to talk to a member of staff about accessing your child's free place, it's simple and is at no cost to yourself all we require is a copy of your child's birth certificate or passport.

Child Tax Credit

As part of Working tax Credit you may qualify for help towards the costs of childcare. If you do qualify, the amount of help you receive will depend on your income. The help can be up to a maximum of 70p for every £1 you pay out in childcare costs. This is up to a limit of £175 in costs per week for one child and £300 for two or more children. Any costs that you pay in excess of these are not included.
